Thrifty Ice Cream - Chocolate Malted Krunch

When Rite-Aid bought out Thrifty Pharmacies, my first concern was what would happen to their line of ice cream. When they recently changed their packaging from the classic boxes to the fancier looking containers, I worried that the quality of the ice cream would change. But luckily, this ice cream is still as good today as it was when I’d beg for it as a little kid on hot summer days.

With that said, this stuff is dangerous. I always say to myself, “Just one cup. One cup, and I’m putting it back in the freezer and won’t touch it until tomorrow. One cup. JUST ONE CUP.”

The next thing I know, I’m waking up on the couch in the middle of the night, clutching a tablespoon and covered in chocolate with the empty carton on my head like a makeshift hat.
